Less is more

We in Data Treehouse claim that our graph construction and model management tool maplib is the fastest available graph construction and validation tool out there. This is obviously a statement we cannot prove, but why are we still quite confident making the statement?

By making actively use of column based representations and relying on stacks from the the Apache Arrow project and the zero-copy principles makes us confident we do less than other graph construction methods.

Our confidence has recently gotten a boost after preliminary results from an independent benchmark that indicates that we are ahead of the best alternative by approx a factor of 10.

So in summary : less is more!
